Bio

Kyle Welton is an award winning filmmaker who has worked behind the lens for over a decade. His short films have screened at numerous prestigious festivals including: The Tribeca Film Festival, The Whistler Film Festival, The Canadian Film Centre’s Worldwide Short Film Festival, The Leo Awards Film Festival, The Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival & Film North. In addition to Kyle’s narrative works, he has completed commercial campaigns for Pepsi, HTC, the NHLPA, the David Suzuki Foundation, the University of Toronto, Ziptrek, WAN Communications and GoGo Air. Most recently, Kyle has focused on the longer format projects; he is currently in post-production on THE NATURE OF SUZUKI, Kyle’s documentary starring broadcast and environmental icon David Suzuki, Kyle was the Director of Photography on Academy Award winner Bill Steinkemp’s BRAKING POINT, a European race car reality series (premiering on TSN in June) and lastly, Kyle’s Canon Camera/Big Vision Empty Wallet pitch contest winning feature film, THE ETIQUETTE OF SEXTING, is in development after successfully raising $33,000 on IndieGoGo.
